Cornus ‘Alleman’s Compact’

Category:

Description

Similar to Red Osier and ‘Cardinal’, but with a deeper, wine-red stem color and a more compact form. A four-season beauty with white blossoms in May, pleasant green foliage in summer, giving way to white berries in fall and finally the outstanding red stem color in winter. Excellent for mass planting and also an effective bank cover. Good plant for wildlife. Selected by Roy Alleman, Spring Meadow Nursery®.
